EZ Smoked Steelhead
Submitted By
FishUSA Admin
Tip, try fish on Ritz crackers, and cream cheese. This recipe was originally submitted on the old FishErie site by

Ingredients
Coarse Kosher Salt
Fresh Ground pepper
Garlic Powder
Brown Sugar
Instructions
Try this recipe, and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. It's fast, easy, and hardly no mess. First, fillet your Steelhead. Then, sprinkle with the salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Next, rub fillets with the brown sugar. That's it. The wood I prefer is Hickory or Sugar Maple. You should soak the wood in water, for at least 30 minutes before using. In the pan of water, you can put lemon slices, or cinnamon sticks, it's up to you. Smoke fish, anywhere between 6 and 8 hours, it depends on how big the fillets are. You'll have to watch.
